Why I love Filming Conferences

I love it because I know more people are going to end up seeing the presentations than would have otherwise been possible.

The single easiest way to invite more people to view your content is to produce video. It has never been easier, and never has it been more possible for more people to see that content easily. So if you have an audience that can’t be at your next function, conference or forum, create some videos and let them watch on their own time, no matter where they are they are.

Conference Coverage

The next time you have a conference, how important is media content that is produced from the event? Well, that depends on a couple of factors, mainly though, what do you intend on doing with it. There is no doubt about how quickly things change, one of the best realities we live in is how much control we have over the messages that represents our respective organisations and businesses. Never has there been a better time to reach out to your audience so they can see you and what you have to offer.

Media Today

While this post will not be new news for many people, it may help to clarify this topic for some.

Organisations traditionally would rely on external, traditional media for their exposure. While this is and always will be important, particularly for smaller organisations that don’t have the depth and reach of larger ones, managing your own media is just as crucial moving forward, given the tools that are available to us all. It certainly takes time and resources, however, the number and nature of tools available to reach a far wider audience, yet engage in such a personal manner, has never been more possible. 

In the same way, content creation shares a similar reality. Producing and publishing content, while it does require resources, has never been easier, quicker and at such high quality, and has never been more critical. Strategically planning for how media content is created and managed is an element of business where thought needs to be dedicated to, especially given the power we all have on current publishing platforms.

Like all resources, whether your organisation is for profit or not for profit, media content should be leveraged in every way possible to maximise its benefit, both in the short and long term.

Content Production

Busy days leading up to the official launch of Multimedia Sauce. While there won’t be a big party of sorts, mostly just business as usual, we are definitely looking forward to developing it as a platform for content production. Every time I work with an organisation, be it for profit or not for profit, I am reminded of the importance for orgs to produce and manage quality content. The difference that can be found with just a little research is quite profound.

Welcome to Multimedia Sauce

Yes the name is spelt correctly, just a little play on words for the fun of it….:)

Recent years  have seen me working with some awesome teams, individuals and organisations creating content that will, hopefully, change things that need to change or help people that need it. It makes me happy and it is what I do every day. Multimedia Sauce is where you will find out what I have been working on, what stock footage and images I have available for liscencing and where you can find me if you want me to work on your project…. pretty simple..:)
